Abstract
Black and white photograph of the S.S. Charlottetown sailing.
Note
This boat or ferry took us from Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick to Borden Prince Edward Island across Northumberland Strait.
We spent the night at Tormentine, a dirty little fishing village with a lovely sandy beach where we watched the tide come quietly in at 8:00 P.M.
Our rooms and bed were clean and we slept well.
The sand over which the tide comes is ridged and scalloped with fascinating regularity and design.
There were many interesting shells on that beach.
