This collection includes documents from a number of cultural repositories, accumulated over the course of several years and multiple rights-based research projects. The Collection includes a wide variety of documents pertaining to the history of Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq, including government documents such as proclamations, reports, and official correspondence; community texts such as petitions and appeals; private correspondence and writings; archival published material like pamphlets and newspaper accounts, and more.
